Built Environment Consulting Services are for those who prefer a little extra when it comes to service. Our company believes strongly in delivering the project plans on time although there is often delays out of our control we strive to do better each time we take on a new project.

With the passion that we have for the work we do, it makes each and every project so much more interesting.

We specialise in building consent and resource consent packages using the latest Revit software program and have been using Revit since 2009.

Another moto we have is that if you are not learning something new each day, then give it up!

Built Environment Consulting Services

BECS-NZ was started in 2016 by two individuals, Jay Allison and Neels van Zyl, with international experience in mechanical design, architectural design and specialist Revit BIM training. Both Jay and Neels have had previous architectural companies in South Africa before emigrating to New Zealand.

The company offers built environment consulting services to all who prefer a little extra when it comes to service. Jay has served the mechanical design industry for 16 years and the architectural industry since 2009. He has an associate degree in architecture from San Francisco Institute of Architecture and is currently studying to complete bachelor and honors degrees. Since 2009 he has completed over 250 plans in three countries. Neels was trained in America by Autodesk and Trimble and has specialst Revit BIM experience in architecture as well as experience in point cloud scanning for some significant buildings in Christchurch. Neels has a bachelors degree in architectural technology (management) from Tswane University of Technology in South Africa. He has travelled across the world sharing knowledge to professionals in the built environment with 22 years experience in the architectural industry.
